This Scholarship is given to 4 Iowa State University Horticulture Students. The Award is $750 each. The State Garden Club Chairman works closely with the Horticulture Department Chair, Program Coordinator and Academic Student Advisors to select the recipients of this award.

National Garden Club offers a scholarship to an Iowa resident attending an accredited college in any state.

You only have to apply for the National Garden Club scholarship (see above for application information). The Iowa Chairperson will select the best candidate and then submit to the Central Region Chairperson. They will select the winner and/or winners from the seven states in the Central Region.
