Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa

Federated Garden clubs of Iowa are made up of members who have a passion for everything about our great land. 

Members respect plant life, animals, nature, and the environment. 

Membership promotes the giving back to their community with service projects, educational programs and beautification. Each garden club offer many different interests, that may include gardening, landscaping, wildlife habitats, flower arranging, or other specific topics. 

Members come from all ages, backgrounds and experiences. 

Generally, most garden clubs meet monthly in homes or in a community building.

If there is not a club in your area, you can join any club in the state.

Benefits of becoming a FGC Garden Club Member

Community Connections– Gardening with purpose working together through community service and beautification projects all along making new friends. Members have the opportunity to learn from others and share with others there passion and skills of gardening.

Interested in artistic skills– Interested in flower arranging, elements of design and landscaping. NGI provide many resources to help cultivate your creative design skills.

Greater Knowledge– NGC provides opportunities through educational programs and schools to promote expertise in flower arranging, horticulture, landscaping and the environment.

Environmental Causes– NGI’s mission is promoting environmental responsibilities. Working together as members we can protect and conserve our natural resources and promote stewardship to our air, water, forest, land, and wildlife.
